Jacob Bible Named Rockport-Fulton ISD Athletic Director

The Rockport-Fulton ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the hiring of Jacob Bible as the new Athletic Director and head football coach during a special called meeting on Monday, February 27.

Bible, a native of Moore, OK, has 17 years of coaching experience where he has won 2 State Football Championships with Aledo HS and 2 Boys Track State titles with Oklahoma Midwest City HS. Most recently, Bible spent the 2022 season at Midlothian Heritage.

"Jacob Bible is Rockport-Fulton's gain in my opinion, he's a quality man and quality Coach,” said 11x State Champion and recently retired Aledo Athletic Director Steve Wood. “Coach Bible is a kid magnet, who loves kids first and foremost. He's an unbelievable leader and will have the student-athletes at Rockport-Fulton High School doing things and performing at levels they never imagined." 

Bible has a Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Bible and his wife Ashleigh have been married for 14 years and have a daughter Mikaela (13) and a son Cole (11).
